When the development of Moi Forest products started three years ago, the idea of the power of forest microbes to strengthen the body's resistance and the skin's microbiome seemed revolutionary, to say the least. However, in the past three years, the research work around the topic has only accelerated, and today we can only wonder why we haven't really understood the deep therapeutic effects of the forest we are so familiar with before. Why do our products work so well?
♡ The Reconnecting Nature™ microbial extract they contain, i.e. forest dust®, has been scientifically proven to strengthen the skin's microbiome and support immunity comprehensively.
♡ We prefer organic vegetable oils in our forest dust® creams, which have been extracted in such a way that they also contain precious omega fatty acids and natural vitamin E. These vegetable oils both soften the skin and prevent moisture from evaporating from the skin. In addition, they curb inflammation in the skin and act as food for the microbes that maintain the skin's balance.
♡ One of the creams' key ingredients is antioxidant rich Finnish birch sap, which helps moisturise the skin. The magnesium that is also contained in birch sap, supports normal cell renewal even in irritated skin and soothes itching.
♡ The pH of our products is optimised to match the skin's own acidic pH (3.5 - 5.5), where the microbes that maintain the skin's balance thrive. This helps to balance the functions of the skin.
